I can’t help but to look at womens engagement rings any chance I get. I don’t know what it is, but I am simply fascinated with other womens rings.  Don’t get me wrong, I love my own engagement ring that my husband gave me and think it is by far one of the prettiest rings, but there is just something about weddings and men professing their love and women proudly wearing a ring because it is not only gorgeous, but it’s a symbol of her man’s love for her.

Call me old fashioned, but I think this is one of the most special parts about weddings today.  Most brides get very caught up in all the details of wedding planning and the big day, and rightfully so, but for me, I love the jewelry.  It’s the one element of the whole day that truly lasts a lifetime and longer.  I plan to pass my engagement ring on to my daughter or son one day as a family heirloom.  The sentimental value makes me weapy just thinking about when that day will come – and of course, I’ll be just as excited to see how I’ll replace the vacant spot on my finger!
